When it comes to property, one of the most luxurious and exclusive areas to live in is Bay Colony. This gated community was developed in the 1960s and since then has grown immensely. Beautiful properties in Old Florida, Traditional and Mediterranean styles dominate the scenery. Bay Colony lies on the West from Intracoastal Waterway with beautiful tree-lined streets and excellent landscaping.

Colee Hammock is perfect when you want everything within a stone's throw. Close proximity to the Los Olas Boulevard and just minutes from Fort Lauderdale beach, Colee Hammock offers everything from luxury condos, townhouses, and larger family homes.

All about the water is the Harbor Beach community together with Harbour Isles and Harbour Inlet. All lie together in East Fort Lauderdale forming a gated community with mostly waterfront properties with private docks in the Mediterranean and contemporary architectural styles.

What to Do

We can't really talk about Fort Lauderdale without mentioning the highlight of the yachting world - the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show taking place at the very end of October and beginning of November. A week filled with only the finest industry players and everything from superyachts, high-performance boats, sailing yachts, and catamarans to runabouts, sportfishers, and cabin cruisers.

Las Olas Art Festival is happening in March, and it attracts more than 300 artists. Stretched along the Boulevard, it is the perfect opportunity not only to get to know local artists but also to commission and purchase artwork directly from the artists.

Fort Lauderdale Air Show happening for two days in early May features top-class military and civilian aircraft.

Between November and April, the weather averages around 77F, and the weather remains relatively dry. The most rainfall is seen between May and October.
